One of the things I really miss about living in America, is being in the conversation. As things take place in all areas (sports, politics, pop culture) we just sort of miss it. We don't get to discuss it with people. This boils down to no one hearing my opinion, or me hearing others so I thought I would take some time to share some thoughts. Remember these are all based on the limited and biased news we receive in these parts so take all this with a grain of salt and realize I am always right:)
- 6 months ago all the republicans had to do was put up any candidate that was not a baffoon and they win. Seems to me they missed that memo.
- Lamar Odom to the Mavs. Not sure about the basketball end of this but the reality tv world is going bonkers for his wife being in Dallas. I think that's funny.
-Cowboys December meltdown is killing me, I really want them to be good.
-Alabama has no business playing for the national championship - outrageous.
-Newt, Mitt, or Rick.... almost makes Obama appealing, but not really.
-Folks we better keep an eye on Putin and his boys in Russia, these guys are shady
-Have you read about these whales trapped in the ice, thats crazy stuff
-Facebook Timeline.... that is a great change/update very cool. It may eat up some of my time though cause its kind of fun to play with.
-Surely the American financial sector can come up with a way to capitalize on the Euro zone mess. The dollar should take advantage of this and get strong. I think the Brits were on to something when they decided to keep the queens Pound as currency and stay away from the Euro. That may end up being one of the best decision in history.
-The Chinese have an aircraft carrier. They bought it from the Ukraine and told the world they were going to turn it into a casino. The crazy part is everyone believed them. This really baffles me, a communist country that wants to be THE super power and the whole world bought the "yeah this is gonna be a great floating casino" line.
-Sam Hurd - Former Dallas Cowboy, all around likeable guy, good teammate.... running start up drug cartel in Chicago. That is never a good thing.
Check Back on Sunday, we will be having a big Event Saturday that I'm sure will result in some good blogging.
